5月20日，是新中国飞机设计事业奠基人之一、新中国第一位飞机型号总设计师、歼8飞机的开拓者黄志千烈士逝世59周年纪念日。在航空工业沈阳飞机设计研究所丰碑广场的一侧，矗立着黄志千烈士纪念塑像，他的目光仿佛可以穿透时空，凝视未来，注视着曾经守护过的蓝天。塑像旁边，是他曾经主导研制的歼8飞机模型。
纪念日当天，一位怀揣着航空梦想的小朋友向黄志千烈士的塑像献花，塑像的基座旁已然摆放着一束束鲜花，这是沈阳所的同事们自发悼念的方式之一，以表达对黄志千烈士不朽贡献的深切缅怀和崇高敬意。
沈阳所《黄志千总师诞辰110周年》纪念画册的策划者之一邵志刚也参与了当天的献花仪式，并与小朋友讲起关于黄志千烈士的故事——
沈阳肇始 奠基航空征程
黄志千烈士作为制定我国航空工业整体规划的重要人物之一，在1949年，新中国航空工业几乎一片空白，急需拥有自主飞机设计和制造能力的情况下，他舍弃了国外优渥的生活条件，毅然选择回国，投身于新中国第一个飞机设计室的组建当中。1956年，党中央发出了“向科学进军”的伟大号召，同年4月，他参加了全国长期科学规划工作会议，为制定中国航空事业发展蓝图出谋划策。
沈阳，是新中国航空事业的发源地。初期，黄志千在沈阳带领飞机设计师们从零开始建设、科研。当时，工业基础薄弱，物资设备匮乏，信息极其闭塞，设计室的创建工作举步维艰，设计团队在简陋的条件下开始了工作。初始办公场所非常有限，是座简朴的小平房。黄志千在这里开始带头收集各院校的资料，翻译各类国外文献，以求在有限的条件下获得尽可能多的知识和信息。“他读过的书，都有勾画痕迹和公式记录，他把能用的东西都摘出来，一点一滴地积累。”邵志刚介绍道。
黄志千对待工作异常严谨，而培养年轻人又耐心细致，他经常一边帮着修改设计问题，一边给大家示范讲解。在飞机设计过程中，设计人员发现新机型常常出现颤振问题，黄志千便带着设计团队的成员们拖着木质战机模型，顶着风雪跑到城市郊外，在严寒的东北进行风洞试验，以确保飞机设计的可靠性。
歼8雄飞 实现报国夙愿
1965年5月20日，黄志千前往欧洲执行公务，“当时需要懂飞机全局，又要有外事经验的同志，他是完成这项任务的最佳人选”，面对小朋友提出为何非他不可的疑问，邵志刚解释道。然而，他所乘坐的飞机坠毁，黄志千不幸遇难，年仅51岁。行前三天，歼8飞机研制方案刚刚批准。谈及至此，前来献花的沈阳所科研人员感触颇深，“他的牺牲对中国航空飞机设计事业是一个巨大损失，但黄志千烈士留下的专业知识和实践经验，成为了航空工业宝贵的财富。”
1969年7月5日，歼8飞机首飞成功，极大地提升了我国的空中防御能力。邵志刚引领小朋友走向歼8飞机，“歼8飞机是中国自行设计制造的第一架高空高速战斗机，开创了我国自主研制战斗机的新纪元。1985年，歼8项目获得国家科学技术进步特等奖。”
薪火相传 赓续使命担当
2020年，沈阳所在丰碑广场歼8飞机旁为黄志千烈士专门建立了纪念塑像，邵志刚将当时落成仪式的情景娓娓道来，当时黄志千烈士的长女黄江来到落成仪式现场，他为其讲述了黄志千烈士的英雄事迹。由于工作的特殊性，相关工作内容在很长一段时间内并未对外公开，甚至连其家人也未被告知，直到近几年，随着一些历史档案的公开，才得以窥见黄志千烈士的杰出贡献和个人功绩。
在黄志千烈士纪念塑像前，沈阳所的科研人员表示感受到深深的使命感。“继承烈士的遗志，完成他未竟的事业，为实现中国航空工业的腾飞而不懈努力，是对他最好的纪念。”邵志刚也表示，在他搜集相关历史资料，接触到黄志千烈士的生平后，对于传承这种使命担当抱有深切的责任感，“我22岁入所，一直跟随航空前辈不断学习，对他们的航空精神深深的感动，他们很多人一辈子醉心科研，默默无闻。希望通过我与同事们的努力，把老前辈们的事迹挖掘出来，不让他们的历史功绩湮没在时间长河中。”(完)
